Answer
I thought this passage was extremely entertaining. I found the author's light and witty style easy to read. I also liked the ‘personal touch'; his humorous anecdotes about his own domestic situation were engaging.
The author used much humour in the text and that was entertaining. As a Tom and Jerry fan, I enjoyed his reference to the comic duo and found his observations on a possible Tom and Goldie very sharp and witty. I also enjoyed the final anecdote about the neighbour taking the fish ‘for a walk'.
The information on goldfish was presented in a light and lively manner. There was not too much information so that the passage still retained its entertainment value.
To conclude, I was entertained by this passage and would welcome an opportunity to read this author's work again.
