2001 Paper 2 - Section 3

In writing about poetry you will never be able to show the examiner all you know, or every single powerful image in a selection of poems. It's important to know what to mention and what you may have to leave out on the day. Do not try to analyse each poem verse by verse, line by line. As a skilled reader and evaluator of texts you should be able to focus on the most relevant and significant details of what you have studied.
