Question

Preparation

In this section you are required to write two essays. Read all the essay titles carefully and take note of words in bold letters. Choose the two topics on which you can provide lots of factual information in a clear and organised essay. Think before you write. Close your eyes and try to recall pictures, maps or cartoons from that section in your textbook or material you saw on video. Draw a quick spider-diagram. Remember that marks are allocated for facts and overall evaluation. Make sure you always write your essay title. One A4 page is always enough. Spend around 15-20 minutes on each essay.

An archaeologist working on a dig:

Remember to write the title of your essay. It is a good idea to spend a minute or two doing a quick spider diagram. Try to recall the most important facts about a typical archaeologist and write down key words. Then use this as your guide to writing a well-structured essay. It would be nice to include some relevant present day discoveries in your essay.
