Preparation:

When a question is based on a speech or presentation, you must address your audience at the beginning and the conclusion of the speech.

The purpose of your essay is to introduce. You can't say/write everything you know about Bishop. You must select the features of her work which may interest your audience and which you feel they should know about.

Try to give an overview of the poet's concerns, and the personality which emerges in her poetry.

Your speech should leave your audience wanting to know more about the poet.

Show enthusiasm for your subject, as this will make the topic more interesting for your audience.
